We have been shortlisted for the Eco-tourism Enterprise of the Year Award (Tours and Travel) at the 8th Eco Warrior Awards to be held in Nairobi next week! We are very much honoured and hope to win!
The Eco-Warrior Awards recognize efforts, innovations and exceptional achievements for promoting responsible tourism and enhancing tourism sustainability which directly conserves the natural environment linked to local communities (either credible individuals or groups) through mutually beneficial and equitable partnerships. Nature conservation through community development by tourism is the essence of ecotourism.
Earlier this week we received an email from a student in Kalalu Secondary School Nanyuki, one of the CSR programmes that we support and we felt we must share it. In the past we have helped them by funding their construction for the school toilets, donated some computers.
Hope this finds you well.I have tried to look for the best words to thank you and by extension the Uniglobe family. Am sorry i had to miss one of the most important Mondays in the life of our school. Had a few personal issues that kept me away. Am personally overjoyed that once again your wonderful family has pulled us from the darkness to light. May i promise that we shall up our game and to an "A" game as far as delivery of the curriculum is concerned. Am glad you are part of ur family and forever we will always be grateful to you all for supporting us to grow and develop. I wish you all be best in all your endeavours.
Am sure Uniglobe will always be one of the best Tours and Travel Operators in Kenya and beyond. May you receive a lot of blessings every day. Have a look at this...
For us at Uniglobe Let’s Go Travel, it’s to tell Jacqueline and the rest of the students at Kalalu Secondary, we are glad that we could be of help, and hope that the computers will help you in your learning.
