Kenyan Gems with a Humanitarian Touch

Kenya is the jewel in the crown of East Africa, and this itinerary includes the ‘gems’ of African wildlife experiences, 5 days spent in the most famous of all wildlife sancturaries, the  Masai Mara National Reserve. And from this incredible experience something really special, a look at local communities and projects that helping them rise above poverty. 10 days of total adventure and inspirations, visiting Maasai Mara and humanitarian projects in Nairobi, Kawangware, Ngong Hills and Kiambu.

Itinerary: 
Day 1: Nairobi
You will be met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Clear with immigration and customs and transfer to the Fairview Hotel for overnight on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
Pick up from your city hotel and transfer to Wilson Airport. Depart on the morning schedule flight at 1030hrs. Check in is 1 hour before departure. Arrive at Mara airstrip at 1110hrs and transfer for check -in, lunch, afternoon game drive before returning for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 & 4: Maasai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight accommodation.
Day 5: Maasai Mara - Nairobi
Early pre-breakfast game drive. Transfer to Mara airstrip and depart on morning schedule. flight at 1115hrs. Arrive Wilson Airport at 1245hrs. Drop off at your hotel for overnight on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 6: Nairobi - Kawangware
You will visit a Refuge Centre for Children in Kawangare in Nairobi overnight on bed and breakfast at the Fairview Hotel.
Day 7: Nairobi - Ngong Hills
You will visit a New Lifestyle and Retraining Centre for Women in Ngong Hills on the outskirts of Nairobi city . Overnight on bed and breakfast at the Fairview Hotel.
Day 8: Nairobi - Kibra
You will visit a Community Centre for Disadvantaged Children in Kibra which is the largest slum community in East Africa. Overnight on bed and breakfast at the Fairview Hotel.
Day 9: Nairobi - Kiambu
You will visit a Nutrition Centre for Infants in Kiambu. Overnight on bed and breakfast at the Fairview Hotel.
Day 10: Depart
Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and end of tour.
