Rock Side Camp at Westermann's Safari Camp is situated at the foot of a rocky kopje, about ten kilometers off the main Nairobi/Mombasa road, 29 kms south of Voi, turning off at Maungu village. It consists of 15 cozy wooden Bandas and 8 luxury bungalows, all of which have shower and toilet.

Rock Side Camp offers you a choice of activities; Climb the Kopje, a walk in the bush, or for those who enjoy bird watching, there have been 84 species spotted in one single morning.
We also organize guided hikes up Mount Kasigao, which has a unique flora and fauna. This tour will take all day.

After your chosen activities you can relax by the pool or at the bar, and in the evenings watch the most sensational sunset. All meals are served in an open building, sheltered by a Makuti roof. The roof is supported by a huge rock, which forms the center of the building. If the weather permits it, we serve evening Barbecues under the stars.
