Samburu Intrepids Club
A flying safari to Samburu Intrepids Club, situated on the Euaso Nyiru river in Samburu Game Reserve. In addition to the 'big five', the harsh and arid plains of Samburu are home to certain species of game which are unique, in Kenya, to the northern parks - Beisa oryx, long necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, blue-shanked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe.
-
In the morning fly passed snow-capped Mount Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve. Enjoy a game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro river, with the chance of seeing herds of elephant in the river or under the huge Acacia thorn trees.
-
A full day to absorb the dramatic scenes, animal and bird life. Samburu is home to the Beisa Oryx, long necked Gerenuk, Grevy's Zebra, blue-shanked Somali ostrich and Reticulated giraffe. There are good opportunities to see leopard and lion.
-
Rise early for a final game drive before the return flight to Nairobi. It is possible to fly directly to the Masai Mara, or onto the coast from Nairobi.
