In the heart of Zanzibar Stone Town lies the Dhow Palace Hotel, a restored 19th Century palace. The 16 spacious, en suite, air conditioned rooms are furnished with Oriental and Zanzibar furniture. The verandas are filled with colourful Zanzibar artifacts, and there is a typically Zanzibari lounge. The Rooftop restaurant offers a variety of sea food, local and international cuisine, and has a panoramic view of the whole of Stone Town and across the Indian Ocean. The hotel is not equipped with a bar as they do not serve alcohol.
