Man Eaters Camp is constructed on the site where approximately 140 railway construction workers were killed by two maneless male lions over a period of three months in 1898, while construction of the Railway was taking place at the Tsavo River. Man Eaters is comprised of 30 en-suite, spacious tents nestled on the banks of the Tsavo river, which enjoy a stunning view of the wilderness of Tsavo West National Park.
