Meal Plan Full Board
Epiya Chapeyu Tented Safari camp lies in the heart of the Tsavo East National Park on the banks of the Galana River at the foot of the Yatta plateau. Set amongst Doum Palms (Hyphaene Coriacea) and Acacia trees (Acacia Brevispica) it is in perfect harmony with the local indigenous African landscape and vegetation. The camp is situated approximately four hours drive (with a four-wheel-drive vehicle) from Nairobi (via Manyani Gate) and from Malindi/Watamu (via Sala Gate). If driving from Mombasa, the Buchuma Gate on the road to Voi is the nearest Park entrance. Built more than 10 years ago by Walter Bigi, an experienced host with more than 40 years in the bush, he and his son Oscar, are actively involved in the day to day running of this oasis in the wilderness. The location of the camp has been selected as one of the most spectacular sites in the Tsavo East National Park and has been featured by the BBC.
