Ilkeliani is a small 17 tented camp right on the edge of the Masai Mara, within easy game driving distance of some of the best game viewing areas of the reserve. The camp blends into the surrounding bush and each tent, with en-suite bathroom and large veranda, over looks the Telek river, where crocodile and hippo may be seen.
Evening drinks are served out under the stars, around a camp fire. The cuisine is excellent, and the service is efficient and friendly.

Hi Paula,
The safari was great - really pleased with everything. The driver was lovely, and did a great job of finding animals for us, and the camp was great - exactly the sort of thing we were looking for.
I'd have no hesitation in recommending you to others.
As a note,when we first enquired, we were interested in the fig tree camp. Having visited the camp for the balloon ride, we felt so lucky to have chosen Ilkeliani - we found it less touristy and a lot more to our taste - thanks for recommending this.

Just a quick note to say how much my son and I enjoyed Ilkeliani Camp. I liked it as it was small, the tents were well separated, it was very well organized, the food was good, and we saw lots of game even leopard on a kill, and 2 black rhino. Our driver, Edward, was excellent.
