The Izaak Walton Inn is set in 8 acres of gardens, two kilometers from Embu town on the main Nairobi-Meru road. The Inn was originally a farmhouse and is named after a famous English angler because there is good fishing in the mountain streams nearby. The hotel has 42 basic double rooms each with private bath, a bar, lounge, dining room and function rooms.
