Lakira Camp is a luxury tented camp, situated on the edge of the lake in Lake Nakuru National Park.
The six luxury tents are furnished with antiques, four-poster beds, Persian rugs and equiped iwth Egyptian cotton bedding. All the tents are en-suite with shower and flushed WCs. Each have a private verandah overlooking the lake.
The camp has a central dining and bar area. A wide variety of cuisines are offered to include international and traditional African BBQ. The camp offers a well-stocked bar area, drinks can also be enjoyed on safari or in a spectacular 'sundowner' setting with canapes.
The camp welcomes chidren.
Some of the wildlife highlights that can be seen in the Park include: lion, black and white rhino, waterbuck, hippo, leopard, impala, gazelle, hyena, wild cat, golden cat, hyrax, colobus monkey, and Rothschild's giraffe. There are up to 1.5 million flamingos and 450 other recorded species of birds.
