The Bilashaka Lodge is situated on the shores of Lake Naivasha. A paradise for the guests, the many species of birds and also the hippo who graze the lawns at night. The lodge contains 5 double rooms, each with their own bathroom. Each room is decorated in a unique style has a private verandah overlooking the grasslands and acacia trees. During the day guests can enjoy the peaceful environment, watch the birds or take a dive in the swimming pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining room or at the verandah of the lodge. In the evening a fire is lit, so guests can read a book in the living room, have a drink in the small but intimate bar or sit outside on the verandah and look out for hippos and buffaloes. The lodge is located at the ground of Bilashaka Flowers. A rose farm owned by a Dutch family. A tour around the farm gives you an excellent view on how roses are grown here. The environment of the lodge is known for it’s birdlife, and you can spend a day watching the birds or you could takean early bird walk under the guidance of a professional birdwatcher. Other wildlife which can be spotted include Thompson gazelle, impala, zebra, vervet monkeys and olive baboons. During the night hippo’s and buffaloes come out of the papyrus to graze around the lodge.
