Taking an unusual route, this safari offers an increadible variety of scenary and wildlife, combining the best of Kenya and tanzania. The diversity of different tribes from Luo fishermen to Masai will make this journey a complete and memorable experience in som eof the most dramatic and beautiful parts of East Africa.

Schedule: 


  • Descending in to the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha we visit Cresent Island where we can walk near the lakes edge amoungst giraffe and gazelle. Camp at a private farm.
  • Further north in the Rift Valley Lake Bogoria Natioanl Reserve is well known for its geysers shooting in to the air against a backdrop of flamingo feeding in the warm warters.
  • Drive across the Rift Valley then up into the highlands of Kericho in the heart of Kenyas tea growing area. Overnight at a guest house, surrounded by tea.
  • After driving past the vaste plantations then small holdings worked by the Kipsigi people, we reach the open plains of the Maai Mara. Evening game drive.
  • All day dedicated to game driving in one of the remoter areas of the reserve.
  • Leaving the wildlife behind we meet our first Luo fishermen on the shores of Lake Victoria, in Tanzania. Overnight on the Lake shore.
  • Entering via the western corridor in to the famous Serengeti we game drive en route. We set up camp in a private site near to the Seronera river.All day game driving.
  • Half day game driving in the Crater. Overnight at a lodge in the park or on the edge of the Consevation area.
  • Again crossing the Rift Valley we drive to Arusha before continuing to the Kenyan border and so to Nairobi.

Samburu Intrepids Club

Country of Origin: 

A flying safari to Samburu Intrepids Club, situated on the Euaso Nyiru river in Samburu Game Reserve. In addition to the 'big five', the harsh and arid plains of Samburu are home to certain species of game which are unique, in Kenya, to the northern parks - Beisa oryx, long necked gerenuk, Grevy's zebra, blue-shanked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe.

Schedule: 


  • In the morning fly passed snow-capped Mount Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve. Enjoy a game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro river, with the chance of seeing herds of elephant in the river or under the huge Acacia thorn trees.
  • A full day to absorb the dramatic scenes, animal and bird life. Samburu is home to the Beisa Oryx, long necked Gerenuk, Grevy's Zebra, blue-shanked Somali ostrich and Reticulated giraffe. There are good opportunities to see leopard and lion.
  • Rise early for a final game drive before the return flight to Nairobi. It is possible to fly directly to the Masai Mara, or onto the coast from Nairobi.

Fly to Mara Intrepid's Club in the Masai Mara Game Reserve for two nights. Game drives included. Tented Camp.

  • A 45 minute flight in the morning to the Masai Mara, a short game drive en route to camp for lunch, an afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight. The Mara is home to the `big five' - elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard and, in particular, black-maned lion for which the Mara is famous.
  • Full day with game drives.
  • An early morning game drive and after breakfast fly back to Nairobi arriving at approximately midday.
