Treetops

Treetops

Treetops will be closed for refurbishment from the 1st October 2011 until 1st January 2012,
Treetops is the original tree lodge, and is world famous for its location facing a water hole and a salt lick on the edge of the Salient area of the Aberdare National Park, set on stilts overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick visited by a variety of animals each night.
The lodge lies at 6,450 feet above sea level. It has 4 decks and a rooftop-viewing platform. There are open balconies for viewing and photography; two photographic hides at ground level at either end of the lodge allow really close shots of unsuspecting animals.

Treetops will be closed for refurbishment from the 1st October 2011 until 1st January 2012, when it will open it's brand new doors.

The refurbishment will restore the history and romance of Treetops; improve guest facilities and services while maintaining the superior wildlife viewing. The character of the “tree house” look and feel will be maintained.

En-suite guest rooms with improved comfort and size will have a superb view of the wildlife water hole.

With enhanced adventure activities, guests can book and stay for 2-3 nights as they experience the breathtaking and unique Aberdare Ranges.
